Services
What we take on.
Extensions, renovations, conversions and the structural work underneath them — across Brentwood, Shenfield, Hutton, Ingatestone, Stock and Billericay.
Extensions
Single storey, double storey, rear, side return and wrap-around extensions. We handle the drawings, the building regulations application, footings, structural steel, brickwork, roofing, glazing and the full internal fit-out.
Because it runs as one contract, the steel is sized before the trench is dug and the roof is watertight before the plasterer arrives. That is the difference between a twelve week job and a twelve week job that takes six months.
Full house renovations
Taking a tired or dated property back to a sound shell and bringing it up to a modern standard — rewire, replumb, new heating, insulation, plastering, joinery, flooring and decoration.
Renovations can usually be phased so you can stay living in the property, working room by room or floor by floor rather than moving out for the duration.
Kitchens and bathrooms
Structural openings, floor build-ups, first and second fix plumbing and electrics, tiling, and finishing. Whether the units come from a showroom or a supplier we fit them properly and we deal with what is behind the walls, not just what you can see.
Loft and garage conversions
Dormers, rooflights, staircases, insulation, fire escape provision and floor strengthening. A loft only adds value if it is legally habitable, which means regulations for fire, ventilation, headroom and floor loading — all handled as part of the work.
Groundworks and structural work
Footings, underpinning, drainage, retaining walls, concrete bases and structural steelwork. This is the part of a job nobody photographs and the part that decides whether everything above it stands up straight in ten years.
Roofing, brickwork and external work
Re-roofing, flat roofs, chimney work, repointing, rendering, patios, driveways and garden walls. Often the quickest way to lift a property is the outside of it.
Not sure which of these you need?
That is normal. Describe the problem and we will tell you what the job actually involves.
